High School at Cape Town
At Blouberg International School, our High School programme empowers students to realise their full academic and personal potential. We place strong emphasis on the individual, fostering confidence, independence, and a genuine love for learning within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Our students follow the internationally recognised Cambridge curriculum, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and academic rigour required for success in a global context. Through a focused, student-centred approach, we prepare learners to meet international standards while nurturing their unique talents, interests, and aspirations.
Students in Years 9 and 10 follow the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum, with examinations written at the end of Year 10.
Students in Years 11 and 12 follow the Cambridge AS Level curriculum, with examinations written at the end of Year 12.
Learners may further extend their studies by registering for Cambridge A Level examinations upon successful completion of the AS Level programme.
The Cambridge Private Candidates section would benefit from:
- A clear, school-specific fee structure
- A dedicated online registration form
- Explicit clarification of what support is included (e.g. registration assistance, exam administration, invigilation)
This will improve transparency for parents and candidates, reduce admin queries, and ensure consistency with the High School Cambridge offering.
